Rotary International has now 7 areas of focus adding Environmental and Sustainability in 2022. It joins peacebuilding and conflict prevention; disease prevention and treatment; water, sanitation, and hygiene; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy; and community economic development.

Rotary’s new initiative to focus on preserving planet earth has excited a lot of members and attracted new members to the organization. New projects are being developed to lend a hand at environmental sustainability like in District 5060 with their pollinator highway idea. We hope to expand the pollinator hwy concept throughout Canada and the USA to help our pollinators.

Rotary Club of the Rivers
Rotary Club of the Rivers is an online Eclub which is a Satellite of the Club of Chelan Wa. Rivers has members from all over who are committed to working on projects that focus on environmental sustainability. They meet twice a month online, the first and third Wednesday at 5pm PT.
